Spaces

So the house is apparently a done deal, about to be SOLD. Ricky is stressed and his Maine Coon yowls are echoing off the bare walls.

The airline tickets are bought.

And the rental car is secured upon arrival at some airport called MVD.

But where are we going after this 10hr flight? (I’m still thinking about the “travel app” and getting my large purring girth there faster)

In two weeks, we’ll be in this Uru place, and no place to go.

A lady by the name of "Maria" is looking hard for a rental place. “Who’s Maria and where did you meet her?” is the question my female handler (f.h.) gets quite often. “It’s hard to explain” is about all the f.h. can muster out. That’s pretty lame. That’s what you say to a 2 year old!

So Maria found a place today. She called it a “casita chiquita.” I think it’s bad when the emphasis is on small. Maria couldn’t quite answer the question: how many bedrooms?

From the 12 pictures sent as attachments, it seems that there are two “spaces”. One space is the entrance that is divided by a wooden panel. One side of the wooden screen is a picnic table, and the other is a single bed.

The other space is a bathroom/kitchen combo. No….really!

Well that’s a space saver if I ever did see one! Seriously, a double duty room. No wooden screen, no nothing. Wide open space.

The male handler (m.h.) focused on the attributes of stone walls, light seeping in from the floor to ceiling window directly behind the toilet, and the unique wash basin that had no visible pipe coming out from below the counter.

The adventure begins…
