Burmese Products in Uruguay

To Burma/Myanmar, we say....YOU GO!!! Welcome to the 21st Century and the global marketplace.

These butter beans have come a very long way.

Yarn bomb

The Handlers had to go across the river earlier this month (visa renewal). Since Male Handler didn't need any specific thing, it was Female Handler's choice on where to go. She picked the yarn district because she really truly believes one can never have enough yarn. Not knowing exactly where it was....she came upon this tree and decided she had arrived!

But the inside scoop is....Uruguayan yarn is much nicer. It's always good to know that the selection at your front door is about the best around.

I can see my breath ...inside the house!

Stiff ropes (sounds wickedly bad!).

You know it's a cold day when the goats' water is frozen, and their ropes are stiff. But their coats are thick and their lineage is accustomed to even colder temps.

My preference is to find the sun spots...

Keika's preference is to curl up in a ball...

We shall endure for another 2 months!

Happy Birthday Guapito!

While I may be the youngest feline in the family, we have our youngest Mini Handler turning 20 on the 4th of July. Twenty is a milestone...and since I am technically older (in feline years), I feel obliged to offer a few words of advice.

You're old enough to vote and wise enough to take on personal challenges. Think of both as opportunities. While at times some of those "opportunities" may look like an uphill climb... remember you are named after a Fourteener.... always look at it as an adventure.

At 20, you have so many choices....it can be daunting

My advice....
skip the Perdiz Comun, and go straight for the rabbit.

Whatever path you take, whatever things you encounter, learn from them...
and do not drop rocks on your feet.

While I find the computer useful as a butt-warmer, I understand it has other advantages. Do not confine yourself to it. A hot water bottle works well too.

Be inquisitive.

Be yourself.

Understand language and how to communicate effectively and respectfully.

Always embrace inspiration, especially when whispered in your ear by a stuffed dog. Also, I have found that the removal of BOTH socks helps me think more clearly.

Last but not least, get plenty of rest. Even if it's just a quick 10 minute cat-nap, they can turn out to be the best.

We love you!
Happy Birthday Gaupito!
