The handlers were going nuts last weekend. I mean out of the ordinary “nuts”. Prices appeared on everything except me. Ricky and Keika weren’t for sale either. I guess that’s a good thing. We figured out it was “yard sale” time, but prices were truly on everything. I think the male handler even had a price on his back as well…
Ricky and I selected to sleep one last time on an array of quilts.
As it turned out, the female handler had a change of heart during the Saturday sale. She refused to let the quilts go for near to nothing, and the price that she put on them was sufficiently high to stop the antique dealers from buying them up.
Displaying the quilts also prompted neighbors to stop and admire them and think about their own quilts tucked away in the closet, rarely seen. Hopefully they went home, dug them out, and are now enjoying them.
