I'm doing fine, thank you for asking

I took some time off this winter.

I'd like to say I was sharpening my skills, but that's not true.

The handlers did some traveling, but I managed to keep the house in order by bringing home the bacon tucu tucu.

I turned my head for a second, and Nostra stole it. Such a waste.... She's a pathetic dog. She steals my food and then goes to nap on her sun cushion. Pleassssse!

The almonds are about to flower so I ordered in more hives. Ok, I admit, I didn't. The 30 new hives are to pollinate the rapeseed (Canola oil) next door, but we will benefit from these worker bees as well.

This is our new fence. Took 3 months to build 500 meters. !?!?!

Keika is fine, sassy as ever.

We did have a touch of winter, but it wasn't much to write home about.

The fields are starting to produce again. Here we have rather large stash of Lengua de Vaca.

That was rather exhausting providing you with a 2 month overview of life on the farm. I think I'll nap now if you don't mind.

A visitor up river

The handlers were out on the beach today, around Los Pinos (Colonia) ...and came across this little fellow.

The sea lion was about 200km from the ocean, but didn't seem too worried about it. The handlers got about 2 meters from him and he decided that was close enough.

Fortunately the handlers did not have the dog with them. It was just them...and the sea lion on a deserted beach.

Tied up in knots

Seriously...that's what this Billy does...

ON HIS OWN! No outside interference here at all!

And he does it every single night.

We're going to have to install a webcam...to see Sonny, the Billy, do a bit of break dancing.

BMW Show

BMW owners from around Uruguay came together not too long ago in Colonia for a gathering. Here's a smattering of pictures from the event ...

The Handlers don't drive a BMW, nor have they ever owned one. They currently own a different European make that they don't particularly like from a country that boasts some of the best couturiers. But apparently that design sense does not spill over to automobiles.

a picture of this dog. Not sure this chica dog would last long in the wilds of Uruguay, especially in that outfit. She is obviously bored with it too.

Yes...we're here!

It's been awhile but I just wanted to share that we're all good, been busy keeping the goats in line, among other things. Here I am, ever vigilant...

And here's Nostra, my assistant...

Keika, on the other hand, makes sure the couch stays warm.

 Someone has to do it.
