Labor of Love

On one of the many beach walks during the holidays in December with the family, a fishing net was discovered long ago abandoned among the reeds and tangled in a small tree at the water's edge. What a find! Lead weights, buoys, and ropes of different sizes. After spending about an hour untangling it from nature's grasp, it was stuffed into a feed bag (also found on the beach) and brought back to the farm where nearly every animal had to give it a good sniffing down, including me.

Female Handler got started on a project in January with the hopes of finishing it for Male Handler's (MH) birthday. That didn't happen. Two sizes of ropes were selected.

It was finally finished today. MH has a new basket for his almonds.
