Happy Birthday, Senior Female Handler!

Senior Female Handler loves plants. And when she comes across one that she thinks is particularly attractive, she will take a little snippet of it.

Without anyone knowing...

Or she hopes that no one is looking...

In December of 2011, she took a snippet of a sedum plant, and she stuck it in a pot at the farm.

That sedum has held its own through many extra-tropical cyclones as well as a few subfreezing nights.

Today, September 1st, on Senior Female Handler's birthday, it is blooming for the first time ever.
