We're still kicking...

I can't say that I know too much, but something is happening. Call it feline sense of intuition... Either we're getting ready for company or we're getting ready to move.

1. The windows have been washed. To quote Charles Ramsey, that would be a "dead giveaway" that something's amiss. Days following the big wash down, there was an influx of flies in the house and Male Handler (MH) went nuts with the fly swatter. Following the freak-out we had about 30 smushed flies on the windows and a rather speechless Female Handler.

2. The front walkway has been feng shui'd. MH has not been happy with the front configuration of the garden with the rock pathway cutting a line in the plush (and nicely cut --thank you Bill and Shawn) grass. So with a combination of mulch and brick, and eliminating the rock path, it is looking more tranquil, or at least that is the goal. But in eliminating the rock path, and leveling out the grounds, he has encountered roots that needed to be removed. A 2" root became a 6 ft monster to deal with.

On Friday night we had an unexpected rainstorm and now we have a bit of a muddy mess but...in the end I think it will look nicer. I didn't much care for walking on the gray rocks anyway.

3. The Handlers sometimes go off for the entire day, only to return minutes before milking time. Keika was none too happy about this the last time and left her calling card on MH's bedside rug.

So...we'll see what's up in the next several months. In the meantime, I'm doing my share to keep the tuco-tuco population under control.
